Dutch rabbi and scholar. He was born in Hamburg. He officiated at Middelburg in the Netherlands, and taught in Amsterdam from 1643. He constructed a model of Solomon's Temple and published an accompanying exposition in Spanish, which was translated into several langauges. He also produced a model and exposition of the Tabernacle.
